Two Slovakias compete for a presidential seat. The national populist, Peter Pellegrini, faces the opposition candidate, Ivan Korcok, in the second round of voting this Saturday.
Meeting followed by a crisis press conference, Wednesday at the headquarters of the Slovak National Party (SNS) “What unites us today is our fierce fight against liberal politics,” said Andrej Danko, the leader of the Nationalist SNS Party. He is a “ nasty ” man coupled with an “ anti-Slovak candidate (…) serving foreign interests ”, warned the Prime Minister, Robert Fico.
