In Sudan, the Wagner mercenaries appear to be on the side of the paramilitary “Rapid Support Forces” (RSF) group, which repeatedly competes in skirmishes with the Sudanese army. The country's army, on the other hand, is supported by Ukrainian soldiers in order to curb Russia's influence in the country. Since the death of the former Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin and the resulting restructuring of the mercenary group, a separate Afrika Korps has been formed.
