Unknown person poisons 200-year-old oak tree: tree dies. Five holes were drilled into the tree's trunk and an unknown toxin was discharged, causing the oak to die and its subsequent felling.
Police initially launched an investigation into property damage. The damage caused is estimated at around 3,000 euros.
