Mario Ezequiel Marini, 22, was shot to death in his home by a person who knocked on his door. It happened the same day that taxi driver Héctor Rául Figueroa, the first of the wave of crimes, was murdered.

The case is being handled by the Intentional Homicide Prosecutor's Office and it is not yet known in what context the crime occurred. Since then, the city of Rosario has been paralyzed by narcoterrorism, which also included shooting attacks on police stations, prisons, burning cars.
