There are more than 200 different IHK professions in which training can be completed. The most popular IHK training occupation was the profession of wholesale and foreign trade management clerks, followed by office management clerks and retail clerks. Over 100 apprenticeship positions remained unfilled in 2023, meaning one in five offers registered with the employment agency.
