The missile was shot down by the USS Carney. Less than an hour later, this destroyer “shot down three Iranian drones” which were “near” it, Centcom said. It did not specify whether the drones were armed or not. The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 31, announced the American Military Command in the Middle East.
