A 28-year-old man, recently released from prison, was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention on Wednesday. The man was arrested Monday after two kidnapping attempts.
The accused had already been convicted on several occasions, notably for sexual assault, but which did not target minors. Justice has opened a judicial investigation into the counts of attempted kidnapping of a minor under 15 years old, "acts punishable by a maximum of 30 years of criminal imprisonment," detailed the Toulon prosecutor, Samuel Finielz.
