Venezuela's main opposition alliance managed to register a candidacy for the presidential elections. Edmundo González Urrutia is a Venezuelan diplomat, internationalist, with a master's degree in International Relations from the American University Washington DC.
Corina Yoris, nominated by María Corina Machado as a candidate, was left out without any explanation being presented so far. “The strategy is to try to replace him with a unity candidate or ultimately adhere to a candidacy already admitted,” he added.
