The 18th Venice Architecture Biennale opens in Venice, Italy. Curated by Ghanaian Lesley Lokko, this 18th edition, where contemporary art prevails over architecture, glorifies this continent that has been ignored for too long.

"Decolonization and decarbonization" are precisely the two major themes of this 18st edition. The issue around water - often rare and expensive like these silver geysers coming out of utopian architecture - is also at the heart of the reflection of this great "laboratory of the future"
