Eight wagons of corn from Ukraine were opened and their contents dumped on a railway track. The incident took place in Kotomierz, almost 300 km northwest of Warsaw.

For several weeks, Polish farmers have been demonstrating against imports of Ukrainian agricultural cargo. Ukraine said the blockade had caused serious economic losses and hampered its war effort and called on Poland to punish those responsible. A meeting between the two countries is planned for February 28. The European Union lifted customs duties on its imports to economically support the country at war.
