Kremlin leader says Washington is aware that any deployment of American troops on Russian territory or in Ukraine would be considered an intervention. Putin spoke a few days before the presidential elections from March 15 to 17 which should allow him to run again for six years.
“Everything they are inventing at the moment, ” he continued, “what they are scaring the world with, all of this constitutes a real threat of conflict with the use of nuclear weapons, which means the destruction of civilization,” Putin warned.
