Warning strike at BER is underway: 50 takeoffs and landings are canceled. Lufthansa only flies from the capital airport to Munich and Frankfurt am Main.
The reason for the warning strike is the group-wide collective wage negotiations for, according to Verdi, around 25,000 employees on the ground. Collective bargaining is scheduled to continue this Wednesday. The strike also has consequences for passengers at Berlin Airport. Eurowings, Swiss, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines are not affected.
