Hérault placed on orange alert on Tuesday due to a risk of waves-submersion. Rain will arrive from the south and west of the country.

Strong winds will also accompany this precipitation, leading to Météo France triggering an orange alert (level 3 out of 4) for Tuesday. Gusts of between 60 km/h and 70km/h are expected near the Mediterranean as well as around the Pyrenees, a little more in Aude and Haute-Garonne. Yellow level vigilance is currently planned in nine departments of the seaside and the Rhône valley.
