A Palestinian member of Islamic Jihad, involved in several anti-Israeli attacks, was “eliminated’ by an Israeli drone strike Thursday evening. The attack targeted “Yasser Hanoun, a Jenin resident and Islamic Jihad terrorist, who had previously been detained for his involvement in the terrorist organization’s military activities” The car was struck on a street in the densely populated Jenin refugee camp, located below the town of the same name in the northern West Bank.
Deadly incidents have been increasing in the West Bank since the start of the war in Gaza on October 7.
