Elizabeth Fritzl, now 56, was raped more than 3,000 times by her father, Josef Fritzl. She gave birth to 7 children - six of whom survived.
In 2008, after 24 years in a dark basement, Elizabeth's daughter, who was already 19 years old, needed urgent medical treatment due to a life-threatening kidney disease. Yosef drove her to the hospital and told the medical staff that Elizabeth had joined a cult and sent her sick daughter to him for treatment. He was arrested on the spot and after a short trial that lasted 4 days, he was sent to life imprisonment on charges of murdering one of Elizabeth's babies. Today he is 88 years old and lives in prison.
