Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - 156 children in the district are currently being looked after by childminders. On average, each carer looks after 4.1 girls and boys.

If the childminder fails, the district would actually have to offer replacement care. The district bears the costs. Refinancing is largely carried out through parental contributions and state subsidies. If this replacement care is not guaranteed, all state funding could be cut off, said Alexander Krautz from the youth welfare office.
