The first “circular organic data center in the world” will see the light of day in Île-de-France. It will materialize by a forest of algae cultivated on the roofs of the data centers gathered since 2006 on a campus in Marcoussis.

This scientific project aims to “Reconciling digital transformation and ecological transition.” The idea is to find a way to recover this energy, transformed into heat by the servers to return it to the territories.
