Women's football in Foggia is record-breaking, but risks disappearing. The 'Foggia women 1987' football team won the Italian cup of female excellence.
The team does not have a field on which to train and does so on that of a school - unsuitable for 11-a-side football. To play away matches we have to rent a means of transport which costs us between 500 and 600 euros per match. The players, girls aged 18 to 47, do not receive emoluments.
