Renovation work is underway on a stone threshold at the Kochelsee outlet. Trucks and helicopters are used for this purpose.

The work will take around six weeks and cost half a million euros. The power of the water has affected the stone threshold since it was built over 100 years ago and caused erosion. A total of 1,000 tons of gravel and 2,000 tonnes of hydraulic stone will be used in the construction project, which will begin soon. The gravel driveway is loosened up after use and the gravel is then distributed below the threshold in the Loisach.
