Yahoo buys AI-powered news app Artifact - Future Tech. In mid-January of this year, the founders of Artifact announced the closure of the service.
The app, designed and developed by two Instagram exes, allowed users to receive news suggestions via artificial intelligence. Artifact's mission was focused on displaying relevant stories to subscribers through artificial intelligence, using proprietary technology to deliver personalized news and experiences. The proponents of Artifact are Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, two former co-founders of Instagram.
