A horse escaped from its enclosure on the Nationale 12 on Thursday afternoon. The animal then wandered onto the A86 near Jouy-en-Josas, in the direction of Vaucresson.

He then rushed into the duplex of the A87, which has a ceiling height of 2.55m. The horse was only slightly injured, having slipped several times on the road. He was immediately returned to his owner who took him to a veterinarian. The operation was managed by “general” firefighters. But the Yvelines departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis) has a cell specializing in the capture of various animals, from horses to tarantulas, including snakes and sheep. It saved a horse that had fallen into the swimming pool of a property near Rambouillet on February 9 to 10. It was able to be calmed and then brought under control by the firefighters, who are often called upon for delicate interventions. It is not known why the horse escaped its enclosure.
