Banners in Munich's Südkurve were shown during FC Bayern's 6-0 home win against Schalke. The banners referred to a police operation that occurred the week before on the return journey from Bremen to Munich.
The police had defended the action. A week after the operation, for example, the responsible B Remen police were asked whether they were "on fire", as well as the message "Bremen police: The V stands for proportionality"
