Carlos Alcaraz beat Alexander Zverev 3:6, 1:6 in the quarter-finals of the Indian Wells tournament. During the third set, a swarm of bees entered the stadium and sat on the "spider" camera which moved above the field using cables.

The game was stopped for an hour and 40 minutes until the beekeeper of the tournament arrived and vacuumed the bees from the camera. "I saw a few bees around, but I thought it was just a few. I raised my head and there were thousands flying into my hair," Alcaras said.
