Annika and Jessica Horn have helped their father mount his expeditions to the ends of the world. Last November, they completed the Sand Half Marathon in the desert of Jordan.
“ It was rich, inspiring and moving. The adventure, with our family, we can only be a fan,” the youngest Jessica tells us on the train to reach Lausanne, where she is based. ‘We struggled in soft sand with the sun beating down at over 30°C. It was physically hard but in those moments, you should definitely not,’ Annika adds.
