Andy Murray suffered a severe injury to his left ankle at the Masters 1000 tournament in Miami. The former world number one suffered a complete rupture of the anterior talofibular ligament.
The 36-year-old Briton announced last month that he wanted to end his career ‘probably’ after the summer. Murray indicated in February that he would like to play in the Roland-Garros tournament at the end of May, having not set foot on Parisian clay since 2020.
