Nearly 300,000 people are expected over four days to attend the biggest obstacle event which begins this Tuesday March 12. After twenty-eight races, it will close its doors this Friday after the traditional Gold Cup.

“Taking a week's vacation to come to Cheltenham in the rain in March is absolutely not a problem, on the contrary,” confides Mike, an Englishman living in the south of France. The festival is a true place of pilgrimage for obstacle course enthusiasts.
