Oday Dabbagh opened the scoring for Palestine in the 37th minute. Hassan Al Haydos and Akram Afif scored the other goals for Qatar. Qatar will face the winner of Uzbekistan and Thailand in the quarter-final. Earlier on Monday, Jordan also qualified for the quarterfinals, at the expense of Iraq. Jordan beat Iraq 3-2.
