Luis Tejada, Panama's all-time top scorer, passed away at the age of 41 from cardiac arrest. The reports state that the player felt chest pains before a match in the local league, and during the match he fainted.

He was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment. However, after a few minutes, he was pronounced dead. Tehada, nicknamed the "Matador", is a leading figure in his native country since he became the top scorer of the national team thanks to the scoring of 43 goals.
