Seleção defender Robert Renan was subjected to a racist attack on social media following his suspension in the 1-4 quarter-final victory over Tunisia. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) filed a complaint with FIFA on Wednesday.
Renan will not play against Ofir Haim's team on Saturday night (20:30, Kan 11), leading his country's association to send a harsh complaint to FIFA. "We strongly condemn any form of discriminatory action in football and will no longer tolerate such incidents in sport," it said.
