Biathlon ace speaks of a surprising comeback shortly after retirement. Tilda Johansson switched from cross-country skiing to biathlon in 2017.
She made her debut in the World Cup in January 2021, but she is still waiting for her breakthrough. Her greatest successes were the overall victory in the 2022/23 IBU Cup and two silver medals at the 2023 European Biathlon Championships in Lenzerheide. The 24-year-old Swedish biathlete may start at the national championship but there will be no return to the current World Cup season.
