La Liga chiefs called Jorge Messi and made it clear that they had received the necessary documents and would confirm the deal by Monday. Barcelona have provided documents to La Liga management, which they have reviewed and are still to approve them finally.
After it looked like Messi would eventually go to Saudi Arabia, now in Spain it is estimated that the chances of Messi returning to Barca have risen to 80 percent. Barcelona need to generate more revenue to meet Messi's salary terms and will therefore try to sell more players in the coming days.
