A man suspected of having burglarized the home of MMA champion Ciryl Gane was acquitted on Tuesday by the Créteil criminal court. The public prosecutor had requested four years in prison with a committal warrant against Kamel Z., 27 years old, for this burglary.

The defendant, with a long criminal record with seven convictions including six for aggravated theft, contested the facts during the hearing. “I have nothing to do with all of this, I did not participate in this burglary,” he affirmed, indicating that he had been present “in Paris” on the evening of the events.
