Several fans were arrested by hundreds of police before kick-off. In between, numerous Bengalos were set on fire. A PSV sympathizer on Hohe Straße was injured so badly that his life was in danger as of Wednesday evening (March 13th). A police spokeswoman commented on the incident to the online portal mentioned:“So far we assume that no weapon such as a knife was used. The serious consequences were presumably caused by physical violence. We are currently checking whether a homicide squad will be set up”
