For the very first time in a race managed by Amaury Sports Organization (ASO), the organizer of the Tour de France, drones were used. This Tuesday, March 5, the team time trial of the Race to the Sun was notably marked by the unprecedented use of drones, flying over the runners like birds.

An impressive first – in cycling – for this stunning visual device already seen a few days ago above Max Verstappen in F 1 or even since 2022 on the descents of the Alpine Ski World Cup.
