Cardiff City has been ordered to pay €17 million to FC Nantes for the death of striker Emiliano Sala. The decision was made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), at first instance and on appeal.

The Welsh club has now taken the matter to the Commercial Court of Nantes. The case is set to be heard on June 22, with a verdict expected within two weeks. The club says it has the right to change the amount if it does not receive the payment.
