South Korean soccer player Son Joon-ho is in police custody in northeastern China in connection with a bribery case. The actor was arrested last Friday - his 31st birthday.
Son plays for the South Korean national team and Chinese Premier League club Shandong Taishan. He is currently in the custody of Liaoning's Department of Homeland Security, according to an official at South Korea's Consulate General in Shenyang. At the same time, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "I am not familiar with the case"
