David Rubinstein, whose fortune is estimated at just under four billion dollars, bought his favorite baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles. The value of the transaction is 1.5 billion dollars.
Another interesting name in Rubinstein's buying group is former basketball player Grant Hill. Rubinstein is known as one of the main donors of the Holocaust Museum in Washington and previously donated over 15 million dollars to the museum. He decided that he was going to put his beloved baseball team at the center of his life, and among other things, to enlarge the team's legendary stadium.
