Naomi Kolodny, who served as Shmulik Brenner's assistant coach at Maccabi Ramat Gan, will continue to work alongside him in the top league. For the first time in history, a woman will serve as an assistant coach in Israel's top men's league.

"This is a great expression of confidence by the club in my professionalism, which excites me and flatters me very much," says Kolodney. "I've worked very hard to succeed and I'm glad the club leaders appreciate that," she adds.
