Yuval Freulich advanced to the semi-finals of the Qatar Grand Prix, secured a medal and took a big step towards the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. The 29-year-old Freilich, a former European champion, met in the quarterfinals the Frenchman Yannick Borel, who is considered one of the best fencers in the world.
He is expected to be the first fencer in the Olympic games to represent Israel since 2008 and is approaching the Paris Olympics today.
