The Israel Football Association sentenced Beitar Jerusalem to a heavy punishment following the events of the State Cup final against Maccabi Netanya. The team will not be able to take part in European competitions next season, in addition to a fine of NIS 70,3 and a suspended sentence of <> points reduction for one year.

Beitar is expected to appeal the punishment that will not allow it to play in Europe this season. If the decision is not changed on appeal, Maccabe Netanya, which lost the final, may receive the ticket to Europe instead of Jerusalem.
