Former world champion Julian Alaphilippe wins the second stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné in a sprint. The Frenchman settled a bumpy sprint while Laporte was again a candidate for victory.
The yellow jersey was overtaken by the Ecuadorian Carapaz who did not resist the return of Alphilippe. Christophe Laportes remains at the top of the general classification. More info to follow on the race's official Twitter account @dauphine.
