A stone thrown on the A46 motorway crossed the windshield of the vehicle transporting Nice supporters to Lyon. The bus, which was carrying around thirty Nice supporters and two drivers, was hit by a stone, probably thrown from a bridge, which passed through the windshield and hit a passenger.
A passenger was hit but did not want to be picked up. “No sporting rivalry justifies such behavior,” replied the Rhône prefect via X on the social network Twitter. The police are continuing their research in order to bring the perpetrators to justice.
