According to Forbes, Real Madrid is the most expensive club in the world in 2022 with a valuation of $6.07 billion. Madrid has increased its value by 19% in the past year, while United have climbed 30%.
Madrid and United are the only two clubs to have been ranked in the top five each year since 2004, when Forbes began publishing annual valuations of football clubs. Six of the 10 ranked clubs in the report are Premier League teams, and seven of the top 30 clubs are from Major League Soccer.
