Portuguese legend Artur Jorge died this Thursday at the age of 78. He was a prolific striker for Porto, Coimbra, Benfica and Belenenses.

He also enjoyed a coaching career, notably guiding Porto to the title European champion in 1987. He returned to France in 1991 to take the reins of a PSG which had recently passed into the fold of Canal+. The club remained for seven years without a trophy and a 1990-91 season ended in the ninth D1 place.
