South Africa will host the Under-20 World Cup in 2024 this summer. Triple reigning world champions, the French will face New Zealand, Wales and Spain in the group stage of the tournament.

The Baby Boks, third in the last four U20 World Cups, will face England, Argentina and Fiji in Pool C. Ireland, world vice-champion in 2023, will challenge Australia, Georgia and Italy. The final is scheduled for Cape Town Stadium on July 19. The tournament will bring together “the twelve best U20 nations in the world”, divided into three groups of four.
