Shawn Weissman signed with Salernitana for half a season on loan from Granada. The 27-year-old Israeli striker joined the Serie A table-toppers, who are coached by the legendary Pipo Inzaghi.
Weissman will be the fifth Israeli in the history of the top Italian league. He was preceded by Tal Benin (Brescia), Eran Zahavi (Palermo), Dor Peretz (Venice) and Sof Podgorano (Spezia)
