Silent departure of the Bayern boss: Neppe's contract has already been terminated. Since Christoph Freund took office as sports director in September 2023, the 37-year-old has only played a minor role in the squad planning and sporting orientation of the German record champions.
Neppe was already left out of the eventful finale of the summer transfer window. In the winter he mainly took on scouting tasks and no longer had any decision-making power when it came to changes. It is not known what plans Neppe has for his future and which club he could move to after Bayern leaves.
