The Irishman Daniel Wiffen won his second gold medal of the World Championships. Mélanie Henique came second behind Sarah Sjöström in the 50m butterfly. She is the first Frenchwoman to win a medal at these World Championships in Doha. The French team won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
