Australian Open winner Jannik Sinner easily qualified for the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells on Thursday, easily beating the Czech Jiri Lehecka 6-3,6-3. This is the 16th consecutive victory for the 3rd player in the world since the start of 2024 and he is undefeated since the Davis Cup final last year.

Besides the Australian Open, Sinner also won the Rotterdam tournament in February. He will face the winner of the meeting between the defending champion, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, and the German Alexander Zverev.
