Brazilian footballer Daniel Cora Freitas was murdered and his body mutilated. Businessman Addison Brits confessed to murdering the 24-year-old footballer after finding him in bed next to his wife, Christiana.
Brits received a prison sentence of 42 years and 5 months. The murderer was also sentenced to two years in solitary confinement in a dungeon. Christiana, the killer's wife, was sentenced to 6 months in prison for giving false testimony. Alana, who celebrated her 18th birthday on the day of the incident, was sentences to 6 years in prison.
